Xero Fire are the consultant Fire Engineers on this development and excited to be working with Charter Hall on this iconic Raine Square re-development.
Raine Square is undergoing a huge revamp of 60,000m2 integrated mixed use development which currently incorporates office, retail and urban design infrastructure. Just some of the features of the revamp include a new restaurant and bar precinct, enhanced retail shopping, a multi-screen cinema complex and an additional 15 storey tower.
Once completed this will be a landmark development within Perth CBD.
The fire engineering design is based on providing a smoke control strategy to allow occupant egress, in particular the high numbers in the cinema level where the existing building constraints result in reduced exit width. The fire engineering also address heritage buildings which are attached to the building.
